Anti-plagiarism procedures
The electronic version of the article, after checking its technical completeness and thematic compliance with the Journal's profile, is sent for similarities research using the anti-plagiarism program in force at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
If there are no objections, the article is sent for further editorial work.
If the anti-plagiarism system shows similarities with any existing publications, the Editor-in-Chief of the journal takes steps to explain the situation.
He notifies the authors' team in writing about the result of the anti-plagiarism test and asks the authors to take a position and indicate the reasons for the borrowings. The authors provide answers in writing.
After receiving the answer and taking into account the explanations of the authors' team, the Editor-in-Chief conducts a thorough analysis of the situation and makes a decision on the further procedure of publication.
If the Editor-in-Chief deems that the level of borrowings indicates that the submitted article is plagiarism, the article is not admitted for publication. The Editor-in-Chief's decision, the justification for this decision and a detailed report are sent to the authors' team and to its parent unit.
